ArcadeXR launches a Skee-Ball DLC for Arcade Legend which includes multiple Skee-Ball models and a super-size attraction: Skee-Ball Extreme.
Singapore, May 25, 2023 – ArcadeXR announced today that it has secured the license to bring Skee-Ball to Arcade Legend, making it the first time the official version of the iconic game will appear in virtual reality. Skee-Ball will be released as DLC June 8 for Arcade Legend on Meta Quest.
Originally invented and patented in 1908, Skee-Ball has been reinvigorated over the years and sold to arcades in three distinct models; Skee-Ball Classic, with its nostalgic red and yellow wood panel design, Skee-Ball Glow, featuring retro vibes, colorful lights and attention-getting ornamental design and Skee-Ball Modern, a neon inspired aesthetic that reflects the sleek simplicity of the Classic model. All three models will be available for players to add to their arcades as multiples, complete with overhead marquee when cabinets are positioned together.

The complete set of three models isn’t all the DLC has to offer. It also includes a one-of-a-kind attraction called Skee-Ball Extreme, a super-size version of the game which can be activated directly on top of a full-length lane in the bowling alley. Players will even use all their existing bowling balls to play Skee-Ball Extreme.
Arcade Legend will be featured in the UploadVR Summer 2023 Showcase on June 14 where they will reveal even more news for the game.
